Yoga Asana
Yoga Asana is the well known physical practice of yoga. I work one-on-one to create practices to do at home to refresh and restore the body and mind. The postures I select for you to work with are tailored to your physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Yoga Nidra & Meditation
Beyond the physical practice of yoga lies Yoga Nidra and Meditation. Yoga Nidra is a deep full body guided meditation to release mental blockages and allow the body to reset to its natural rhythms. Meditation can be useful to calm the mind and bring more intention to the way you move through space.
Yoga Philosophical Guidance
Craving connection to a higher power is natural. I provide guidance towards a deeper philosophical understanding of yoga and the applications of yogic thought in modern society. I believe all religious practices are interwoven with the understanding of the physical body, and work with you to deepen your faith.
Therapeutic Yoga techniques are woven into Encompass Yoga Therapy’s private classes, group classes, and everyday habits, though they are slightly different.
