Yoga Therapy is a style of counseling that employs yogic techniques to create a deeper understanding of the body, mind, breath, and spirit.
We are multi-faceted beings, and if any part of our lives are in distress, overuse, or under stimulation, it will affect the way we move through the world. Through physical movement, meditation, breath work, and other techniques, Yoga Therapy will work to give you a toolbox of practices and riutals to allow your true nature to shine.

Anyone can be a good fit for Yoga Therapy. Each session is tailored to your goals - whether those are functional movement goals, or mental health goals. If you are looking to weave spirituality more into your life, or find ways to rebuild strength and stability after a physical injury, yoga therapy may be for you. You don’t have to have previous yoga, movement, or mindfulness experience. Reach out for a free consultation for more information.

The Yoga Therapy process is just that - a process.
Each session is tailored to your needs, and success will depend on your commitment on and off the mat. I always suggest at least 3 - 5 sessions for 1 - 1.5 hours. This will allow for a comprehensive treatment plan to be created, implemented, and tweaked. Your commitment to your practice beyond our time together should allow for at least a 10 minute practice every day.

As yoga therapists, we do not diagnose mental health conditions or problems. Simply put, expect more practice and less talking. Yoga therapists are educators, and the process of healing is experiential, rather than cognitive. Yoga Therapy is based on finding movements, breath practices, and meditations to help meet your goals and relieve discomfort.
For these reasons, Yoga Therapy goes hand-in-hand with talk therapy, and physical therapy. If you are currently seeing other therapists or doctors, we will work with them to make sure your protocols align with their direction and your goals. -
